I've dealt with khukrihouse and had no problems and was more than pleased with the product recieved, a true work horse and you can even get a life time warranty. The sheaths suck on original Khukri's but its nothing much to remedy, http://www.m4040.com/Knifemaking/SheathMod.htm :thumb:
I'd recommend getting one with a guard on the handle if you've got big hands.
I just recieved my "Modern Craft" from Kukuri House and an hour later I'm out buying the Cold Steel Gurkha Kukri and their Kukri machete. I'm 6'4" and my span from knuckle to knuckle is 3.5" and, well take a look:
I don't like how my index finger could slip over onto the blade. It also weighs in at 1.8 pounds so if you plan on hacking through a lot of light underbrush it may be better to get a thin machete. Convert the weight of the one you choose to lbs and then start swinging something that weighs the same (one gram = 0.00204 lbs). The sheath was also supposed to be laced and mine wasn't but that's no big deal.
I'd say they are good value for money and better quality than the traditional ones I could find locally.
