Chrome vanadium has all the advantages when it comes to making things like pocket knives and large fixed blade knives. It gives the best combination of edge retention and strength.

Case makes the chrome vanadium pocket knives like the Stockman, and I know Kabar uses chrome vanadium in some of their knives. Are there any other manufacturers who are still using Chrome vanadium? If you are not familiar with chrome vanadium, it's 1095 with chrome and vanadium. Cold Steel used to call it carbon v, and kabar calls it Cro-van.

So is there anyone besides Kabar and Case who is still using it?
