Sorry I removed the link, if you have a few you are thinking of ask that, matter of fact why not ask what people use without the link?

Personally I use the DMT folders. I have both the fine and super fine. When I need to get really rough I use a Smiths diamond rod (the small one with the blue handle.) I got most of my supplies from merchants on THIS site, I support them because they support us!!

I've got a Fallkniven DC4, diamond on one side and ceramic on the other, it's only small but it's very good.

For kits, I have and like both the Lansky kit with a diamond stone added, and the diamond stone kit from Gatco, then to finish it off you need a leather belt wide to finish the sharpening job...

I use a stone with water or with 3 in 1 oil. I like the stone thats coarse on one side and fine on the other. Plus there cheap. About 3 bucks at harbor freight.

Crock Stixs are real easy to use, fairly inexpensive, and will restore a blade back to hair shaving sharpness fast.
