My wife grew up in Woodinville, WA near Seattle, that is one strike against her there: but after this hunting season, I think i've finally talked her into going hunting next year. I want to get her a rifle that's capable of taking down an elk at 200 yds. if need be. I don't want it to kick too hard, I don't want to discourage her. And probably the toughest stipulation, it has to be left-handed. Easily available ammo would be a plus too. Anyone got any suggestions?
