"So here's what happens; the economy is about to crater, you're a fourth term senator from Arizona. You go back to Washington. You handle what you need to handle. Don't suspend your campaign. You let your campaign go on, shouldered by your vice presidential nominee. That's what you do."

- David Letterman

By the way. Thanks John McCain for actually stalling the bailout negotiations for your own political theater.

New atomic communist threat

Hello! I would like to point out that a new atomic communist threat is about to emerge. And they are sending people in to space to build a space station. When they deploy nuclear arms in space, they will be able to strike any target on the face of the earth within minutes. Support John McCain and Sarah Palin in this years election, and save freedom and democracy.

Yours truely

How serious are we suppose to take FXjohn and bugs, they get their news from Letterman show? Both are trolls, Both have life-partners that resemble Obama and they make a living doing "this is your brain - this is your brain on drugs" commericals.

So back to the original question... where is Sarah Palin? We're supposed to depend on her to take over the presidency when McCain dies of old age, but we can't even depend on her to take over the campaign?

I'm sorry I thought this was McCains campaign. I am glad he didn't react to the meltdown as Obama did and decided to return to Washington to HELP resolve the crisis. True leadership!

You're only mad 'cause Obama didn't think of it first. . . .

All Mr. Present could muster was a "Call me if you need me" line of BS.

E.m.p.t.y.
s.u.i.t.

The dem machine threw up the most obvious PC guy out there knowing no matter who they choose, anyone would beat *any* rep candidate b/c of the bang up job W. has been doing. And they were right. Any gorilla in a suit would with an empty mantra of "I'm not him...don't want you to know what I am-but I ain't him" has gathered the lemmings and will finish off this country...putting a pretty big bow on the messed up job Bush has done.

We are TOAST.

Hmm. Here's where she was the other day. I can't vote GOP (or Dem) this year but I like this girl.

Sarah Palin - Iraq War Is Over Oil?
September 25th, 2008

Well whatever happened to the War on Terrorism? Alaska Governor Sarah Palin is pretty much saying that we better not be fighting in Iraq for the oil, because we have plenty of oil in Alaska!

I give Palin credit for even suggesting that the War in Iraq might be about the oil.

Wow, did I just see what I think I just saw? She's the wild card. She's the one that could shake things up in Washington. I have this odd feeling that the people that selected her may not have known what they were getting themselves into. This should be fun to watch if her and McCain win out.

Where is she? Maybe the witches got her. Look, she is exactly what McCain said he thought of as a VP. Someone to go to state funerals and similar functions. She'll look hot in a black dress and not be expected to do anything to contribute (get in the way) of McCain's plans.

She was a publicity stunt that got its bang for the buck. Now, its fading and McCain has to find a new way to change the conversation...ie "can I get a timeout, things are going to hell in the proverbial handbasket and I need to find some way to draw attention."
