There seems to be two schools of thought here on why we should support Trump. Which fits you? You can't really be both.

A. Trump is a good man who will save us with business sense and greatness. I believe he will turn this country around with hard work and renewed enthusiasm. He will be a wise and trustworthy President. America will be stronger under his leadership.

B. Trump is an incompetent snake and I just want to see this country crash and burn as quickly as possible. Amerika sucks and **** it all. I'm ready, bring on the apocalypse!

Please do not put comments here that will get this deleted. Those can go to the thread in the dark side. Thank you.

My husband and I think Trump will make a great president. Do we love everything he says or how he does things, no so much. However, we believe that he truly loves this country and does not want to see it destroyed. Are his reasons for wanting to be president of the U.S. completely altruistic, probably not, but I doubt that anyone seeking that office do not want it for some personal achievement reasons.

He's not perfect. He wouldn't have been my pick a year ago. He's really shaking up Washington. All the career politicians and their keepers hate him because he's going to upset the applecart and their gravy train is going away.

He's more Main Street then Wall Street. He created his wealth building things, not selling stock of companies others built.

He has talked about things that got you excluded and shut up. Illegal immigration, NATO, corporate inversion, China, Trade, NAFTA, Terrorism and the poor treatment of Vets.

Other.

Trump means well. I won't hesitate to vote for him against Hillary.
Let us pray he can some how manage to get greater, ....much greater advisers than he has used to get the nomination.

Trump has a gift of massive Charisma. People want to believe in him.

Trump has managed to alienate several republicans who would have been very useful to him. As well as thousands of Hispanics and Muslims. Part of the problem is a biased and corrupt media. I hope he will spend the required millions to correct the problem.

I'm the kind of Trump supporter who will vote for him simply to keep Hillary out. Outside of that, I see the loud-mouthed, pompous, narcissist as a typical opportunistic blowhard who won't be able to make any significant changes. He has to go through a Congress made up of Democrats and Republicans -- both of which don't like any of Trump's ideals.

Here I am a year after this poll and I can say I've gone through some ups and downs where Trump is concerned. Bombing Syria last year was a definite down. Signing that huge spending bill was more of a downer. Then bombing Syria again without any evidence that Assad had anything to do with it was about it for me. Trump is STILL an egomaniac who operates on emotion and has surrounded himself with warmongers and RINOs. I can no longer morally or ethically support the man. He's turning out to be just "more of the same-o, same-o." I'm tired of U.S. Presidents jumping when Israel snaps its fingers.

I am supporting Trump with a $50 donation. I'll try to donate a little more between now and the election. Plus, I have supported Trump by sending an email to my Congressman and two Senators to support him, as well. I just sent an email to the Bernmeister to run independently, as well. I really don't want Hillary to win the election.

Um, there's clearly at least a 3rd and 4th camp.

3rd camp is he's not perfect, but he has promising potential. I fall into this camp. He's a bit of a caricature, and a gamble. He could be great, like Reagan. He has strong opinions, of which I largely agree. He has been a flip-flopper but heck, who in life hasn't changed their minds on some big issues? He has been an overall overwhelming success, minus a few setbacks. Then again, who hasn't had setbacks.

He's not a criminal, I don't see any big moral red-flags. He's a strong personality. He has a good business and negotiation strength.

These are things America does need. I don't think he was the best Rep candidate, but he surely isn't the worst.

Overall, he might be great. He might be mediocre. But it would be a feat to be as bad as the last 3 Dums - Carter, Klinton, Obama - or Hillary.

4th camp is holding your nose and picking the lesser of two evils. I know a lot of people in this camp.
