Tango is PakArmySpeak for "Terrorist".

It is a bit unusual for the Chief of Military Public Relations to hold a press conference and explain what we never get to hear. The media only reports the bad news. It never reports what is happening behind the curtain.

There is a constant war going on behind the curtain. If we were just reacting, we would have been sunk by now.

1. The military has conducted 32,173 intelligence-based operations (IBO) against terrorists. I don't know if he is counting the ones we keep hearing about from inside Afghanistan. Probably not. Those would be extra.

We used to hear about people dying in weird ways inside Iran too. But that stopped after we opened fire at them. Iran has chilled. I think they are back to being the good guys (with us at least).

2. Over the past month, nearly 4,000 such operations were carried out, resulting in the death of 90 militants.

3. 193 soldiers have died in these ops.

Most of us don't even know we are at war. 👀

So, we sacrificed 193 good men to take out less than half that number of bad guys.
Most ops are about capturing equipment and weapons and destroying Tango bases... not necessarily about killing the bad guys.

Yes, the number of dead Tangos seems low considering the amount of operations launched against them. The number would have been much much higher if we had started killing civilians in whose homes and schools they hide in. But we try to avoid collateral damage even if it means letting the Tangos run away.

Yesterday, they tried to cross over from Afghanistan but were neutralized.

In frustration, Afghan artillery opened fire... and are still firing. We, of course, returned fire.

3 Pak soldiers dead. Many many more Afghans dead.

KURRAM-KHOST PAKISTAN-AFGHANISTAN INTERNATIONAL BORDER FENCE At 1930-2000 Hours today, unprovoked gun fire came towards multiple Pakistani border fortifications from inside Afghan Taliban border posts in Lower Kurram.

Resultantly, the military formation headquarters of the Area of Operations (AOR) authorised a proportionate and retaliatory use of kinetic force to be carried out, using various and assorted heavy weaponry and artillery, throughout the local area.

As of 2200 Hours, Exchanges of fire are currently ongoing at the border fence with Afghanistan which will be dominated by the Pakistan Armed Forces in response to what is an unprovoked foreign aggression by unprofessional Afghan border forces.

Casualties may be expected on both sides. This is a developing situation.

Really classy.

Bodies of eliminated terrorists of the FAK/TTP are being transported back to their home bases in Afghanistan on the backs of donkeys after getting destroyed in engagements with the Pakistan Army and military:

Did your army send the dead “ tangos” back to Afghanistan tied to donkeys?
Nope. They did it all themselves.

might I suggest pigs next time.
And where on earth do we get piggies from? We ain't got none....

I don't think wild piggies will work..... but yep..... if it could be done, it would be a smashing idea.

Dragged to Valhalla by a pig.....

We are way beyond Sneaker-gate.

Their sneakers were better than mine .... But now it's back to Chinese knock-off sneakers... That too "third copy".

Seems their backers are not funding them as good as before.

The night vision goggles they stole from the Americans have now mostly degraded enough to be useless. Those things don't last if you abuse them in the field. The light amplifier tube or whatever inside has a life of a few years anyway.

Real footage of when we masacred over 50,000 taliban-types and sent them running into Afghanistan. Then we killed some in there too. We can easily do that and much much more. Just a matter of political will-power.

Going to be like this:

No longer front page news. Just another day in Capone-town.

Oh, while I'm thinking of it; Pacman, you'd be miserable here today. 28F (-1C) where I'm at.
