I have several but will kickoff proceedings with this one:

"It is not the strongest of the species that survives, nor the most intelligent, but the one most responsive to change" Charles Darwin

More to follow, but what are the ones that inspire you?

Quote: "Just go ahead and eat it. What's the worst that could happen?" ;)

Oh, not famous last words...

How about the rule of 3s: "You can survive 3 minutes without air, 3 hours without shelter, 3 days without water, 3 weeks without food, 3 months without purpose."

For the 3 month one, I have also heard "hope" or "love" used, but I think "purpose" sort of covers those. :)

I remember them in reverse order and add one. 3 months without purpose, 3 weeks without food, 3 days without water, 3 hours without cover/shelter, 3 minutes without air, and 3 SECONDS WITHOUT THINKING!

Burt Gummer: A lifetime of preparation, and *I* end up a refugee?

I am COMPLETELY out of ammo. That's never happened to me before.

When you need it, and don't have it... you sing a different tune.

Just doing what I can with what I got.

Just a few famous quotes from my favorite survivalist, Burt Gummer from the TREMORS series.

The 2 I have quoted below and one of my all time fav's:

"What would you like to do? Huh? Should we lay down and die? Should we lie down and die Bob?!"
