My favorite folding knife i have is the rajah ii by coldsteel.

http://www.coldsteel.com/rajahseries.html

The Kukri’s best attributes and enormous potential as a weapon and a tool have been well documented in our DVD’s. We’ve made different variations of the Kukri over the years, some with longer blades, and some with shorter, but never, until now, have we had a version you could carry in your pocket as a folder.

The Rajah folders, designed by Andrew Demko, are big enough to approximate the feel and heft a fixed blade Kukri. Their broad, downward curved blades exhibit the best of a Kukri’s characteristics. First, their unique shape presents their thin, hollow ground edges at just the right angle so they naturally bite deep instead of bouncing or skidding off. And secondly their points are thick, wide and sharp enough to pierce even the toughest targets.

Sheesh, if I's gonna have a 6" blade, it's gonna be a fixed blade. To me, a pocket knife is a small thing with a single blade, for whittling, cutting string, cleaning my nails or opening the mail.
yep I got a Gurber EVO for that. Never bring a knife to a gun fight. Keepem for cleaning fish and skining game.

My SCHRADE LB7, most of my Victorinox Swiss Army knives, my CAMILLUS soldier's pocket knife, many of my BOKER pocket knives, any of my pocket knives from my Boy Scout days, the list goes on.
I guess it just depends on my desire for that day though I usually carry either my CAMILLUS or a VICTORINOX.

Howdy knifemaker. I have a very similar knife in my collection. It's the Cold Steel Spartan. They look very much like your knife. The locking mechanism is very strong and the knife feels really comfortable in the hand.

I understand those who would prefer a fixed blade in a fight but this folder would certainly be the next best thing. Cold Steel has done some major strength tests on the locking mechanism and it's not going to fold on you. You hear a major "click" when it locks in place. If you want something you can conceal but trust in self defense, consider one of these knives.

But my personal favorite folding knife is the Cold Steel Tilite:

I own one like the one on the bottom. I already have long arms. With the extra extention of this blade, I have a major reach advantage. God forbid I will ever find myself in a situation where I have to use it.

My favorite knife pocket was my Leatherman blast knife which came with my leather man it was a two piece set. I would have to say now it is one of two. I have a frost dragon claw I have carried with me since I bought it in New Hampshire in 95 . I bought it at a Flea market for like 15 bucks it is the one knife I have never lost. it was metalic green car paint on it It finnally stripped it of all the paint just a few days ago with all the use it just wore off. I am painting it now with some satin olive green rustoleum and putting it back together it is made out of surgical steel and has cut anything I have ever needed to cut . The blade has rarely ever needed a touch up as far as sharpening . It looks like a 4 inch claw the tip is regular edge and the back half is serated and it is like a razor it has never been dull. : ) the only thing that it is not good about it is that it cannot be used in a thrust or stab only a slash however I would not want to get slashed with it the blood loss would be bad and massive. I also have an outdoor edge neck knife that fits in my pocket in a hard cover and I love it, It has usually not needed alot of sharpening and is a wonderful all round little knife can cut, skin , and the blade is about 3 inches but great handle is a curved tear drop it fits great I have no idea why outdoor edge stopped making them it is one of my favorites.
