What is the military using?

What is the military using for bolt or semi-auto sniper rifles? Not counting the Barrett 50, are they still using a remington .308? What civilian models are available?

Suggested barrel twist for distance shots?

Wow. Nice rifles. Did you paint the Remington yourself?

What to you use? I am afraid I would screw one up or it would look crappy as the paint flecked off.
