Welfare is 100% a failed system that only breeds more failure. Look at any areas with public housing projects crime is out of control property values are beyond low. These areas are just a strain on the the Nation as a whole.
Welfare only rewards those for making poor decisions....example if your on welfare and have another kid guess what more money for you. If you fail to get a job guess what more free money for you. The amount of people receiving welfare is insane today. The reason is that those on welfare continue to have more and more kids those kids turn to welfare and repeat the cycle.
Today most families have only 2-3 kids because of economic and social responsibility. But those on welfare have neither so they have more and more kids in order to obtain more "free" money. On average those on welfare have far more kids than those who are not.
1 family on welfare has 5 kids in 20 years those 5 kids have 5 of their own, which gives us 25. Now those 25 have 5 of their own, up to 125. 20 years still those 125 have 25 of their own giving us 625.
Now compare to average family of say 3 it works out to only 81. We can not continue to support this welfare nation. Why should you have to pay extra on your cell bill so someone sitting on their butt watching TV all day gets a free cell phone? The system is out of control as it stands now you are almost better off not working as you get free food, housing, school lunches, daycare, cell phones, reduced utilities the list goes on and on.
The welfare system must be put to an end if society is to not only survive but strive ahead. To have a great society it must be comprised of great people not be burdened by those who have no desire to become productive members of that society.
