We here should seriously start considering getting together

I know it's been mentioned already but I can't help but think we really should try to band-together. Alot of us have the same ideas as far as being prepared but we all should keep in mind that the greater numbers to a group would much better-help in survival and re-establishing something later.

Heh, I think a lot about getting some guys together, but you really have to find people you can trust, and get along with. Your putting your families lives in their hands, and vice-a-versa.

I don't support the idea of shaking up together.

Many of the folks here live in widely different locations and environments. They choose to locate there (ok, some were born there) and some of us are planning to move soon. There is an incredible difference in how many of us see the world.

But, I see a big advantage in creating regional or state wide preper COOPs. Where we could buy and sell products near and dear to our interest. Perhaps these coops could evolve to own specific building equipment and tools. I'd suggest these regional groups should hold skills work shops several times a year.

I would love to get together with some people in georgia. I have 300 acres, with deer, turkey, squirrel, and oats growing. I like camping there, it would be real fun with other like minded individuals. Anyone from georgia want to get together? PM me and we will talk. I totally agree we should at the least meet each other, so we can help one another pshtf.

Hard to develop trust with anybody you only know from online. Even if you meet and hang out once or twice a year, I'd still be leary. For the sake of maintaining OPSEC and protecting one's identity, I suppose everybody could wear hoods with eyeholes
