This website tracks quite a few military and commercial satellites.

I like to find one that is over me and go outside and look for it.

Want to see where the International Space Station is at any given time?

Want to track that toolbox they lost on the latest Space Shuttle flight?

You can literally track several hundred different satellites using this website. You can also check for when a certain satellite will pass overhead so you can be outside and watch it fly over head. For instance, here is the track of the ISS over the eastern US over the next five days.

Looks like south Texas should get a good view a few times and southern Illinois, mid Tennessee, northern Georgia and South Carolina could get a good view as well...
