Anyone ever own/use a Viridian CTL? I am looking for a non-laser light for my HK45C and this is one of my only options as the X300 Ultra doesn't fit, even after I dremeled the heck out of it last night. I also don't trust the ruggedness of the TLR-3.

I heard there was supposed to be a compact X300 but that never came about, apparently.

Thanks in advance for any info.

Oh, if I had gotten the USP series I could have gotten that Surefire adapter. I thought about it... the HK45C was just too tempting after I read an article with Vickers and Hackathorn about the development. I guess I'll have to roll the dice. Glad to hear yours works well.

i have a ctl on a kel tec pf9... i like that it has a strobe mode, i have fired standard, heavy and +p rounds out of it with the light on to no ill effect. the lens gets some carbon on it, but that wipes of easily enough.

I own one on my S&W MP-9 and one on my Ruger SR40C.The light works great and is plenty bright .The green laser is the cats ass. I think it is the best setup right now.I was going to buy the new Surefire m400 model with green laser, but they were canceled for some reason. The full size 2 generation Viridan green laser with light might work for ya.
