Im deployed now but as soon as i get back my enlistment is up. i plan on getting out and using my GI BIll for my helicopter pilots license. is there anyone else on here thats done the same thing or anyone that knows of a place close to Syracuse NY that has the training program there.

I used mine to get my fixed wing ratings - .gov paid for my rotor.
No real money in flying rotor on the civ side and the cost for the ratings a lot higher. Fixed wing pay and job outlook is much better.

Why not just apply to transfer to planes within the Army?
