2020 Major League Baseball season...90% of the places you named are locked down everytime there is a gov shutdown...
NASCARThis is the first time MLB games have been put on hold since the 2001 season, when the season was paused for over a week after the September 11 attacks. It will be the first season since 1995 in which fewer than 162 games are played.
Cuomo can suck wind. Those doctors are needed in the communities where they are ALREADY dealing with this.Cuomo wants doctors to be drafted from all over the US to go work on the outbreak in NY. Says he doesn't know how there will be enough medical workers without it.
`Cuomo can suck wind. Those doctors are needed in the communities where they are ALREADY dealing with this.
Oh cmon, anyone would try this if their county or country is hit hardest. Only a fool would say he wouldn't. Can you honestly say that your governor or mayor or whatever level of government of community would not ask for help if it was your place which was showing numbers as New York?`
C'mon, we the little people in flyover country matter not & are insignificant compared to the important & cultured peoples of NY, we should all gladly lay down our lives so they can live instead.
Most would have SOME self-respect and consideration for others. NOT NYC. These hive dwelling idiots can …………….Oh cmon, anyone would try this if their county or country is hit hardest. It appears to me that the US med industry has learned NOTHING from Jan/Feb. Info that was well known to this board from the backchannel msg/info from chicomland. The do, however, love/parrot whatever CCP propaganda/drivel has been published.NYC is all but a lost cause.. So many 'stack n pack's there, the population-density is the 'causal', Not the 'lack of Med-staff' / ventilators, etc.. Send more Docs / Nurses / EMS there? They'll just get sick / worn out and the City will - still - get over-run by this..
..This pandemic is showing-up the horrible shortcomings of a Number of fallacies, from 'JIT' delivery, to 'Cities are Better models of Community' (than Rural areas / farms, etc, etc..) and Cuomo / past Dem-puppets "leadership". By the time this is over, Manhattan will probably need to be renamed 'Skull Island'... :xeye:
..been thinking, too: With the population of NYC (~8.6M) fairly close to that of Wuhan (~11M) and pop. density not terribly disparate.. Thinking that the 'end result' of those who die - directly - as a result of CoVID-19 in NYC, might give us a 'better-ish' idea of the true numbers of dead in Wuhan.. (since we All know the 'CCP numbers' are total guano...
Sure, there's a Plethora of 'differentials' - physiology differences / level/quality of Care / effectiveness (or lack, thereof) of 'mitigation strategies', etc, etc.. But with somewhat-parate pop. densities.. IF, say, there ends up being 5K dead in NYC? Then that very-likely could suggest a 'corollary' that - at least in Wuhan - the numbers are total BS..
The fact that Gov. Homo won't even accept help from firearms manufacturers proves he won't do anything to help his people, not even something simple & being willingly offered. Maybe someone should remind him all those states his demanding stuff from are a lot of red states with gun owners. Then he won't want their icky machines or Dr.'s either. Most would have SOME self-respect and consideration for others. NOT NYC. These hive dwelling idiots can …………….
Thanks for putting the thread back on the rails.:thumb:...The Appalachian Trail is shut down. Geez
