I'm thinking compact nuclear fusion energy that powers air and space craft.
And some sort of gravity engine that makes it easy to leave Earth's gravity well, and accelerate to near light speed for space travel.

And of course some sort of energy beams for blasting anything in its way. (Pew Pew pew!)

I suppose the new spacecraft might as well have a cloaking device.

And the ability to project a stream of gravitons at objects that you want to repel.
