Well.....personally, I don't think he was morally wrong. He's no more guilty of "murder" than if he put down a viscous animal. As a matter of fact, he did society a favor methinks.

Did he break the law? Yes. And until the law changes and/or we hit the reset button, then this is what we deal with. If the guy failed, it was in his training or lack thereof. Sufficient training, IMO, would have carried him thru the moment and took over when it was all done.....as opposed to his bonehead shots there at the end.

Just my humble opinion.
