what think you of colloidal silver?

Is this the origin of the Blue Man Group?

Do you believe in magic?

Is this a folk tale better left to sewing circles or could it truly be an effective solution to prevention and treatment of sicknesses?

If you are asking wtf is "colloidal silver" in between handfuls of cheesy poofs - you landed here by accident....please find your way back to the XBOX forums...

I am having a hard time finding a 30V DC transformer, I guess I could use batteries but that looks pretty expensive. How long will your batteries last???

I have bought my silver but I didn't get wire. I priced it at $60 an oz. Canadian eagles are .9999 pure and I bought some for less than $30.

1. I think its fabulous stuff.
2. nope
3. nope
4. It may not be a cure all but it is definitely a solution and prevention for many ills.

I make my own now. Mrs Cricket and I have been experimenting with my home made version since middle of January.

We're not blue yet.

My personal observations. At 5 ppm or less it doesn't seem to do much IMO. At 8 ppm, it will take the stink out of your sandals. One day I started to get a sore throat. I gargled for several minutes with 8 ppm CS and then swallowed the CS. Did it twice within a few hours and by the end of the day the sore throat was gone and didn't come back. It seems to loosen chest congestion when taken internally. I've sprayed it on cuts and scratches that were infected and they improved quickly. I've used it on the redness that forms under my glasses pads to quickly heal the inflammation and also to disinfect the pads.

I read that it kills single cell organisms and single cell parasites so I put a little into the water dishes that we leave out for the wildlife. The water in the dishes started getting consumed at a much, much faster rate than normal. The water also looked clearer. When I stopped putting it into the water the rate of consumption went back to normal and the water scuzzed up again.

If one of my cats get's sick or injured I mix it in with their treat food and also put it into their water sources in the house. Into the treat food for colds or bad scratches from fights. They don't show any adverse effects. I think it knocks back infection and they seem to bounce back from colds pretty quick and they don't get to that snot bubble point where they stop eating and drinking. They seem to prefer the CS treated drinking water to the same filtered water with no CS.

One of my relatives who's been using CS for a while says my home made CS is working just as well for her as the retail versions. I gave her a quart about 3 weeks ago so she's got a few weeks of experience with it to judge.

I think it works well if you can get it into contact with the virus/bacteria.

I'm using a wall wart from a computer printer. I find bins of them for sale at thrift shops. They usually sell em for $2-$3. The computer printer wall warts are often rated at 30v dc output at 1000 mA. Less mA is better and you'll see lower mA with a lower voltage wall wart.

You can counter the effect of high mA voltage source somewhat by spacing the silver rods farther apart and by constantly stirring your CS as you make it. The stirring helps to break up and spread out the suspended and concentrated bands of silver particles which then reduces electrical current flowing between the rods. That helps reduce the average size of the silver particles, which by my reading, makes a more effective CS.

Here is what I know, where I work( level 1 trauma hospital) has spent many thousands of dollars to install 3 of these systems
http://www.coppersilver.com/portfolio/pictures/
And spends 4-6 hours a week of a plumbers time to test and maintain them.
1. They would not spend that kind of money if it was an old wives tale
2. We have some of the top medical people in the world they have the know how to prove it works
just for you information the anodes in our units are 25% silver 75% copper

It isn't quackery or wistful thinking. CS is just an antibiotic, just like soap or alcohol. Nice thing about the CS is you can also drink it. More people by far died of cholera on the Oregon trail than any other cause, but it was soon noticable that people who hid their silver in their drinking water barrels seemed to be immune.

The medical community po pos things like CS that work because nobody makes any big money from it. Because the medical types aren't interested, no good studies have been done. It is only personal experience and word of mouth as to doseages and what it does and doesn't do.

This is a good thing for the PREPPERS medicine cabinet, rather than complicated expensive pills that have limited shelf life. You can make your own, what's better than that. It's just too bad that there is hardly any hard information on how to use it.

I suspected that only one of the poles in the water had to be silver. I suspect that the common instructions say to use pure silver for both poles is because a lot of folks can't keep pos and neg straight. I can't remember whether the cathode is the pos or neg pole. Better safe than having folks melting down a copper mix and taking it for medicine.

Not interested ???? I wouldn't call spending close to 1/2 million dollars in equipment and repiping and at least a $1k a month to test and maintain copper silver ion systems not intested !!! Most big hospitals have these systems in in their potable water supply. They have studied enough to invest in installing it in their buildings. It kills most harmful bacteria.

They are 1x1x12 copper silver alloy bars they automaticly reverse polarity every 15 seconds if you click on the link there are 4 of them in the blue spool peices in the pictures

This is one of the many reasons i will not allow a plumber to replace burst pipes to anything that could be potable with pex. Copper for everything but the washer and only because thats a front loader.
Unless you run a softener it doesn't take long for lime and other minerals to build up to create a barrier between water and the copper . I prefer copper but pex is a good system especailly for repair/repipe, material cost and ease of installation make pex cost half as much on a repipe job

I must not have that problem then as the original pipes had no build up. Pex may be cheaper and easier but its nasty, leaches chemicals, and offers no microbial or other protection that copper does. Im betting in 20 years everyone with pex will be seriously regretting it for health reasons... if they put 2 and 2 together. Ill pay the extra for copper anyday.

As the saying goes "You can lead a horse to water......":D:

I've been using colloidals for some time now;
Colloidal Gold, Silver and Platinum.

For me they have been very beneficial and I no longer use pharmaceutical medications to treat the effects of Agent Orange exposure.
Additionally adding other natural agents which seem to have remedied the last effects.

Of course IMO main stream medicine and pharmaceutical companies will always publish their biased findings to keep their following. Kind of like our present federal administration!
