Seemingly everyday now the government of the US is using their non-existent authority to secretively and unilaterally transfer huge amounts of wealth away from US taxpayers. Although tremendously opposed by over 90 percent of Americans, the US treasury is now choosing, in dictatorial fashion, which preferred companies and industries will ‘be’ America in 2011.

Even while challenged by lawsuit on the behalf of the American people the government will not inform the public of what is taking place. Despite the assurance of transparency under sworn oath on CSPAN, the actions are deeply guarded secrets. “It’s complicated, its systematic risk, the alternative is unspecified disaster” they say… but how do you describe what is currently underway? Who gave Paulson the sole power to decide our fate? If the public disagrees with the plan, bribe the congress with pork projects and do it anyway. If congress fails to fund a bailout for the auto giants, change the TARP rules and do it anyway. Maybe it is time for the American public to change the rules. Maybe it is time for the citizens to decide our own fate. We do possess the power to fight back in simple non-violent ways.

A coordinated boycott is the most powerful form of peaceful protest against an abusive corporation or government. Below is a listing of companies how have directly or indirectly received a taxpayer bailout from the US Treasury or US Federal Reserve. Please join in on a collective effort to change the game by discontinuing all business relationships with the following corporations listed below. Consumers can make companies who receive bailout money into pariahs by simple boycotting the products.

Companies receiving indirect bailouts are listed with the (‘saved’ parent company or ‘saved’ primary equity investor)

It appears Cerberus Capital Management is not managing their capital very well.

I wonder how much Cerberus Capital Management donates to political campaigns?

Do you really want to know???

  • On October 19, 2006, John W. Snow, President George W. Bush's second United States Secretary of the Treasury, was named chairman of Cerberus.

  • Steve and Gisela Feinberg are prolific donors to the Republican Party and related organizations. Former Republican Vice President of the United States Dan Quayle works for Cerberus as Chairman of Global Investments, and former United States Secretary of Defense Donald Rumsfeld was a client.

And a lot of those banks don't really need the money.

I heard from a Colonial Bank executive that they don't really need the money, but sought $250 million to buy smaller banks and expand.

Something that is becoming obvious from the TARP list.... the Federal Government is not providing TARP money to Credit Unions.

I don't know why this is the case, but depositing your money in a local credit union could be a form of peaceful protest against the bailout parade. It could also mean the US Treasury is planning to crush the credit unions....
