As some of you may have guessed, Smurf is my husband.

I am posting because we lost him this morning. I don't know much other than it is suspected to be an accidentsl discharge of his revolver while he was parked on a 34.

He was hit in the right side of the head and gone almost instantly.

He loved this place even though he could be a butthead sometimes so I wanted to let people know.

I am absolutely destroyed. He was my best friend, my fishing buddy and the absolute love of my life. I was his as well and have zero doubt of that.

Please keep me and our girls in your prayers. His brothers too please.None of us really know which way to turn right now.

He had fought and won his fair share of battles. This is sad to hear.
Jesus won the battle he (we) didn’t have to fight. At Peace and Everlasting Life is now @Theflyingsmurf

Psalm 92:13
Those who are planted in the House of the Lord, shall flourish in the Courts of our God.

That is terrible, I'm so very sorry to hear this and for your loss.

We'll be praying for you & the girls.

This place will not be the same , I'm at a loss for words.

My deepest sympathy. FlyingSmurf is, one of my favorite posters on this forum.

May Our Father who art in Heaven wrap His arms around you and your daughters. May the Holy Spirit give you all peace beyond understanding and guidance you cannot ignore.

My Queen and I are Childrens Pastors and we would like to have our class pray for your daughters, and you of course. Can you give a first name, or a nickname, of your daughters? PM that if you prefer. If you prefer not to, I totally understand.

God Bless you, take time to grieve. Have patience with one another as you work thru your sorrow. But keep your chins up, you WILL see him again and the rest of us will get to meet him.

Love you Smurf
-Your Brother in Christ

I am so sorry, he and I became friends on here and would often argue our different opinions. You and your daughters are in my prayers.
I am truly at a loss for words.
