Here is the break down of how many votes Ron Paul got in Iowa based on the age of the voters against the other candidates.

http://i.imgur.com/KOTbN.png

Age 17-24 50%
Age 25-29 45%
Age 30-39 35%

If they were just counting the votes of the people under 40 Ron Paul would have easily won.

Age 40-49 17%
Age 50-64 15%
Age 65 and older 11%

The older they are and closer to getting those the Social Security checks they more they dislike Ron Paul who believes in self sufficiency instead of big government entitlement programs. Basically the baby boomers are keeping the corruption in Washington going on for their own benefit. They would rather vote for corrupt politicians who will pay out the most money to them then vote for the only honest and decent candidate Ron Paul.

The baby boomers are simply too selfish and entitled to vote for a candidate with morals. Judging by the votes of the younger crowd you can tell they are fed up.

Both parties are funded by greedy bankers and wall st. scammers but it's the baby boomers who are keeping the corrupt Republican party going and then you have all the ghetto blacks, barrio latinos, trailer trash whites, gays and druggies who keep the corrupt Democrats going.

America has been taken over by parasites. Money grubbing criminal bankers and wall street scammers, greedy entitled baby boomers, welfare collectors and freaks. If normal middle class people were in control Ron Paul would be president.

While I think Social Security is a big scam, I could also understand if you've paid into it your entire life expecting to get that back.

That being said, I was very saddened to see on facebook a very conservative, well-known area pastor say he was appalled at Ron Paul and then later say he was so very glad Newt Gingrich won SC (someone who would leave their wife as soon as she got cancer and marry a younger employee of his is NOT the kind of person I would want leading this country, no matter what side he is on - in fact, as much as I can't stand Obama, I will give him credit that he has (or seems to have) a good relationship with his family).

Sorry but most ghetto blacks, barrio latinos and trailer trash whites live parasitic lifestyles and are either on Section 8, welfare, food stamps, wic or some other government entitlement program and due to their dependence on government they can't be relied on to vote for someone not corrupt because they must vote for whoever is willing to support them financially from the government treasury.

A person who lives off Social Security is also dependent on the government and will have to vote for the candidate who will give them the most government money even if they are corrupt.

Due to the vast numbers of people dependent on the government in this country the politicians and bankers know they have the American people bent over. Look at the rampant theft that's going on Wall St., Criminal bankers have stolen astronomical amounts of taxpayer money and no politician will dare prosecute them. The have gotten so brazen that Jon Corzine from MF Global just simply declared bankruptcy and walked away with billions of dollars of invester's money simply because he could. He was never arrested and it was barely covered in the media.

Social Security is just a big Ponzi scheme, yes people paid into but they should have known it was a fraud and set aside their own money for retirement. It's not fair for young middle class people to be slaves so they can support millions and millions of selfish baby boomers.

"The baby boomers are keeping Ron Paul from getting elected." :thumb:

What ever works I guess. I'd have to vote for Paul over Obamao....and I'm not thrilled with any of the candidates that are left... but Paul's ideas on how the world works (other than basic economics) would be a disaster. He said in a recent debate that he did not think Iran is working on making nuclear bombs. While few outside Iran (other than some selling parts, materials etc.) know for sure, such a comment disqualifies him for President.
Anyone with even a little common sense knows they are very likely working on nukes. Why is that our business? Because eventually one of these rogue nations, like Iran, will sell or gift nukes to terrorist groups who's agendas suit them.
Your ass might just be in the blast zone of one of their targets.

Yeah, I know "Amerika" is a big meanie and its not fair that we have the power of life or death over billions of people. Have we used it since WWII?
Do you think Iran, or Chavez, or....maybe North Korea would show such restraint? Really? There are certain realites that we must face....like the way things are. Paul just doesn't have the qualifications in that department.
Its a shame really. "End the Fed" "gold is money" and other concepts make sense, but you see its a package deal not a buffet.

Would you like a shovel for that hole you are digging?

BTW, how do you expect to garner support for Paul when you basically tear down everyone else but your caucasian ass?

I am curious as to your age, education level, and if a college graduate, a truthful answer on where that money came from.

My guess: 26, college education, mommy and daddy along with FEDERAL college loans and granst paid for it

You do know I played by the rules all of my life and SS was deducted from my checks and paid as part of my self employment taxes. SS is NOT an entitlement, it is an INSURANCE BENEFIT that was paid for through premiums over a LIFETIME.

Quit slamming boomers because we happened to live in one of the greatest booms in technology, global corporate growth (and control) and greedy politicians.

The combination of Global Corporate control and Corrupt Politicians are where the problems lay. The power has been taken from the the peoples hands through fraud, corruption and graft.

What exactly are you doing to help correct the situation?

Very nice. You take what is an interesting issue (the boomers--AS A GROUP--aren't Paul supporters and you point out his policies would hurt them, AS A GROUP), and then you proceed to expose your bigotry.

If you'd avoided the labels you'd have had an interesting post. As it is, all you've done is expose yourself as a bigot.

And FWIW: Ron Paul is not anti-gay. Neither am I, my wife, nor my two children. Only bigots are anti-gay.

And I'm a Boomer, and I like a lot of what Ron Paul says. Oh, what? I'm in that group so I can't hold those opinions? You mean...you were labeling EVERYONE who belonged to a group with the characteristics of some in that group?

The people who will soon be going on Social Security will be collecting far more than they paid in. The average Social Security recipient got $1177 a month in 2011. Thats 14,124 a year. No way were they taking that much out of their paychecks.

So let's say a person retires in their mid sixties, most of them can probably expect to live to their mid 80's so they will be collecting for a minimum of 20 years so that's (not counting the yearly raises they get) 14,124 x 20 = $242,480 in Social Security money they will get. There is no way in hell they paid almost a quarter of a million to social security when they were working. Thats not even counting Medicare. The average Medicare costs are projected to be $161,000 for every male and $181,000 for every female.

There is no way that this whole Ponzi scheme can continue with an honest banking system. So the selfish baby boomers are willing to vote for criminal banker financed corrupt candidates who will continue to allow them to cause inflation by cranking out trillions of dollars in monopoly money to finance the massive government entitlement programs they are on.

This is causing the destruction of the middle class in America. But I guess the baby boomers don't care about all the young people who will are going to have to live in poverty to pay the baby boomer's debts.

If it wasn't for the baby boomers Ron Paul would easily win over all the other Republican candidates and then he would easily defeat Obama.

But no, millions and millions of needy baby boomers going on the dole need mega $$$$ ASAP (money which we don't have) so lets get some crooked banker bought scumbag Republican elected and lets keep cranking out fake money while the greedy bankers take a cut of the cash for themselves.

No way a troll like Newt Gringrich or a Wall St. Sleazeball like Mitt Romney would ever elected if it wasn't for the baby boomers.

not too judgemental, are we? Ron Paul has been running for years, as far as I am concerned he is just another one of the guys who have been in politics forever, same as Mitt and Newt. If a person can not win the backing of the public for his candidacy after all this time, he seems to me to be pretty much unelectable. You might be surprised at the real reasons boomers are not throwing support behind RP. Effectivness as a candidate might have some bearing on those iowa results. still waiting for a real candidate to come along.

BS!!!! We PAID all those yeeeaars into a system that we were FORCED into by the Gov because it was said that we were too dumb to save. WHERE IS OUR $$$$$$$$ ?????? My ex died just one month before he turned 65, never drew a dime. He was a veterinarian so he *contributed* extensively all those years he worked. I only started drawing Survivors Benefits which is only 70% which only began not even 2 yrs ago. There is NO WAY that I will draw more than what he paid into for all those years and now you call me an entitlest ? I am SOoo insulted!!!:mad: I have a choice of drawing EITHER from my ex or mine .. whichever is higher .. not both even though I PAID TOO!!

What has bankrupted the system is the Gov with their sticky hands sending OUR $$$$ elsewhere and to people who never contributed a dime getting it now :mad:

What kind of government do you expect to get when you have millions and millions of entitled and selfish aging obese and unhealthy American's signing up for massive government entitlement programs that cost the US government about $400,000 for each person in money the government doesn't have. These people are predominantly white and conservative and dominate the Republican party.

VS

A liberal party that caters to an entitled class of slackers and promotes socialism and big government entitlement programs that costs money the US government doesn't have.

You get a corrupt increasingly socialist government that is only sustainable through financial and banking subterfuge and massive money printing and the inflation that follows it.

While this benefits the baby boomers and other government entitlement benefit recipients the inflation, corruption and increasing government control is destroying the standard of living for younger middle class Americans.

The economic outlook for America would be now where near as bleak if it wasn't for the coming tidal wave of government entitlement seeking baby boomers.

Social Security is a Ponzi scheme and everyone has known this for a long time. Everyone knows there is no money that has been set aside. However I do believe people should get back the money they were forced to pay into it. The average Social Security recipient got $1177 a month last year the vast majority of people on Social Security get far more than they paid into it and that is a form of welfare.

As Ron Paul says "Social Security is unconstitutional" and wants to free younger Americans from paying into this massive fraud. He plans to take care of the elderly with money saved by cutting back the military.

No way in hell has an average social security collector put in enough to collect $1177 a month or $14,121 a year in benefits.
