The end of TV as we know it.

I've tried the converter box, looked at FTA, C band, Ku band, and commercial dish. We just can't justify the $40+ per month for commercial, let alone some demand a credit card (we don't have), or land telephone line (don't have either). The free to air stuff dosen't seem to appealing. With the converter box, we get a total of two PBS stations.

I guess we just have to hang it up.

Anybody else in this position ?

We have antenna TV and haven't yet installed the converter box.
Did you get an analog pass through converter or a plain digital only converter?

We live in an area were ALL the TV channels are on translators and the law doesn't apply to the translators yet. None of our lovely 4 channels are going to be converted to digital in Feb so we really don't even need the box yet. If you live in an area where there are only translator towers instead of the main tower then you may not need your converter box yet. If you get MORE channels with the convertor box unplugged, or switched to analog pass through, then your TV stations are not yet on the digital conversion.
