Born a REBEL, not a Tory
Can anyone tell me, if a 16 yr old works and gets taxed, would this not be taxation without representation since they cannot vote for representation.
Umm you do realize the the surpreme court has deems it ILLEGAL to pay income tax on several occasions right? The supreme court has stated that the 16th amendment is in violation of the Consitiution itself and therefore its INVAILDJust about every tax out there is taxation without representation as long as the moajority of the "suppoosed" representation really isn't representing the people in their own interest. Mostly just private agenda out polititions are working for.
As for a 16 year old. They are represented by their parents and their parent's taxes go for the schools and projects the 16 year old is invovled with while the 16 year olds taxes go to the programs the parents use currently or will. (thats how the IRS would think of it)
