Yeah, when's dinner? I'll bring da hush puppies.
I put up 5 gallon bags in the freezer with 20 pieces each and have an extra 15 pieces to cook Thursday evening at my parents house (some guy left five fish for my dad and he called thinking I didn't catch that many), but we need some potato peelers! :)

I tried to get my dad to go with me but he had to go to the doctor. He worked hard his whole life and is retired but has to see doctors all the time (which is why I gave up working!). Imma have fun now and hope liberals will still take care of me later!!! If not, oh well. Working=going to the doctor later in life!

Anyway, fish fry at my parents Thursday!!! I hoping to get another day of fishing in Thursday or Friday to have enough sand bass all year. Then I can start on the crappie.

It's about that time where I live. Need some rain!
Not having enough rain is the reason it took less than two hours to limit out on them. I love it when it comes to sand bass and the creeks aren't flooded. Find that shallow spot they have to go through to get up stream and you will have tons of hungry fish just down stream of it.

wheres your fishing spot?
I went east, then north, got out of the truck and went east some more. :)

I've always called them sand bass but from my understanding they are suppose to be white bass. The lines on them and the tooth patches do not always line up to the identification tips in the license book though. Some of them might be yellow bass.
