I guess i wont be there because i dont know what this is. Someone please enlighten me. I would love to be there it sounds cool and i dont know what it is.

Some of us HAMS have been trying to get together periodically and have a quick contact session. This is a prep for conducting a net in an emergency situation. It's not an official net, but we're working on it. PM me if you want more information.

OK. Number one question would be, "do you have an amateur radio license?". If yes, then we can work in one direction. If not, then we can work in another direction.

CS - One suggestion on your title. Rather than "Survival Net Tomorrow night 0100 UTC" (I first read the title on June 13th; does that mean the net will be on June 14th?), why not use a standard date-time group format such as "Survival Net 120100Z JUL 11"?
Less chance for confusion, and good training to boot.

The net ususally takes place on a Sunday evening(US) or at least it has for the last 2 times.

This net is buliding slow as I knew it would, but I believe with the efforts of Commanche Sniper and Grandad Prepper we will build a sizeable commo group! Most of us are in the process of upgrading our rigs and I believe by the end of the year, it will be a fairly large and effective group.
