I read somewhere or overheard someone saying that they load some of their 38 specials down to about 600fps. Now I'm just wondering why? That's slow enough to see the bullet going through the air, and watch it's trajectory. Ideas?

My wife carries a Ruger LCR in 38 Sp, those things are very light so I load 125grn XTP's for her with reduced loads. You don't want her shooting at you with bad intent with those things, trust me.
