Hi,

Been lurking for a while, saw a thread I had to post on.

Living in the semi-socialist state of Minnesota (lots of government programs but still can own semi-autos).

I've been into survivalvism for maybe a year now, bought a few weapons, put together a BOB/GHB for my car, working on food and BOB for home.

Still living in an indefensible suburban tract home, if SHTF I'm thinking neighborhood watch, bug-in.

Keep your battle-packs dry.

Get information on the increase in neighborhood crime over the past year. Then get the neighbors together and have a talk about putting together a neighborhood watch organization.

This could easily lead to other types of survivalist groups, like a gardening group willing to garden in everyones yards so that all will have food to eat and store. You'll have groups that will fix home appliances and autos to keep everyone up and going. You could have groups to watch children when others have to be out working.

Simplify the life of your neighborhood to make it workable for everyone.
