Ive been asked by several people to post pictures of the progress of my squirrel pelt preserving so here they are
so far i have only salted it, dried it, soaked it in salty water, and i resalted it, as of now it is still sun drying

im gonna take it up tomorow and scrape off the salt and just work it over my porches rail until its fairly loose so i can thread it up
ive thought about just killing a squirrel for its pelt but i dunno seems like a waste
they are hell cleaning

Thanks for the info and pics.
Tries this when I was about 12 and it was stiff as a board. Did not work it.
