my yellow crooknecks are still germinating, and i don't expect their seeds to sprout for another week or so. I am definitely looking forward to having them growing.
Funny how as a kid i did not like squash, and now that i have an appreciation for flavor and texture in my food, i really do like them. I think i might have to look into some other members of this family for some other flavorful veggies. They seem to be easy to turn into soups, instead of just slicing them and hitting them with a dose of stir-fry action.
