What I would suggest is to use the search function - there are too many posts here to remember even one.

Also, look at the Red Cross' website and what FEMA have.

Anybody with special needs has the same needs as you and I, just with some extras. What would you need if you had some need out of the ordinary in addition to food, warmth, shelter, etc.?

My mom falls into this category and it's a bit concerning because she is so helpless and we couldn't just pick her up and haul her around if her electric wheelchair runs out of battery.

She also takes tons of medicines and has tons of health needs that if TSHTF she would be completely SOL as she has no colon, diabetes, cannot walk etc etc.

I keep a bnf book around because my mother is the same and I live close to a doctors surgery and hospital

The british national forulae. It lists meds and their uses and interactuions (to a lesser extent) to help me sustitute meds if I ever need to

That's an interesting subject. My step-daughter has special needs and takes medicines that you can't stock up on. I've yet to figure out what to do about that.....
