Not sure if this is the right spot for this question, please move if need be.

I was wondering about a message I get after looking at the site for awhile. The message says
Sorry - no matches. Please try some different terms.
. Normally in the morning I log on and click the new posts button and begin reading, after awhile, say if it is a long thread or I have to leave my computer for 20 or 30 minutes whenever I try to go to the next page I get the above message. Am I doing something wrong or is this just the nature of the forum? Just wondering, thanks for any help!

I see this a lot. It appears my session sort of "times out" if there is no activity for more than 15 minutes or so. I simply click on "New Posts" again to get an updated list of unseen posts and I continue reading the great info (and some crap) that this forum provides...

I would "assume" this is the software's mechanism to efficiently share finite resources. There are only so many connections that can be handled simultaneously and still provide decent performance. If you haven't keyed a character or a mouse click in 15 minutes then it's a reasonable assumption you've been interrupted, gone home, or otherwise are not using your machine so they shut your connection and free it up for someone else to use.
