There's this coating on most of the pickles. White-ish, and the brine is somewhat cloudy. Rinsed one off and had a bite and it was pretty darn good but I'm waiting 30 mins with my finger on a 911 speed dial.:

A cloudy brine I've seen in store bought pickles but I'm not so crazy about this coating. We made them in a big sealed jar, covered for 4 weeks and I'm wondering if it's ok to transfer them into something, should I put them in mason jars with the brine, or just shoot them out and try again?

Nope. Sea salt but everything was clean when we started. There was a white scum forming on top that kind of blended in to make the cloud, and we couldn't remove it all.

They taste great though.

Are they ruined?

Basically we've just opened the container, a big jar, and I'd like to transfer them to smaller mason jars.
