It has come to my notice from the UK press, that some sleep in nude. In at least two cases two (men in the this case) have chased, tackled robbers in their houses or trying to steel cars/bikes from their premises while still in the nude. One even ran to his car with a thief inside and shocked the man so much the thief escaped via the passenger seat leaving said car behind. :

While Im sure the majority of the opposite sex will thoroughly enjoy the scene, especially when its televised or put in the papers, it might be worth thinking on if you follow the same practice. Not all disasters and SHTF come during the day, they can come at night.

I've slept in the nude since I was a kid. If I had to jump up in the middle of the night to confront someone, the sight of a python outside of the zoo would shock them for a few seconds so I could get the drop on them. I've got it all figured out.

My husband sleeps nude,and I'm sure he'd have no problem chasing someone down the street, it if came to that...

I used to sleep like that, until a friend of mine was awakened to noise in the house one night. He couldn't find where he left his shorts as he got out of bed to investigate, so he ended up confronting a burglar in the nude, with a revolver and a cell phone. He held him at bay for the Police, who showed up to find a naked man with a gun. It was somewhat confusing at first, because they thought the naked guy might be the bad guy. Ever since then, I sleep in gym shorts or lounge type long pants with pockets. I can stuff a reload, a flashlight or whatever in the pockets. I'm not sure where you would put those items in the nude, but I have a good idea, and that ain't a pretty thought.

I used to sleep nude until I got a cat. But I never thought of a confrontation or emergency while naked although thad would be my last thought.

My husband used to sleep in the nude. But since having babies, he at least wears boxer shorts. Never know when he needs to wander downstairs to get a bottle

Sweat pants with pockets for me. If I wake in the middle of the night to the roar of flames, the sound of burglars, or someone pounding on my door screaming it's emergency evacuation time, the poison gas cloud / flood / wall of fire / Zombie Apocalypse is coming this way, I don't want to have to waste time yanking my pants on.

Wow...I sleep in pants and a teeshirt, my tac boots unlaced beside the bed, and my shotgun near the nightstand. Some might find it uncomfortable, but "one should always go to sleep ready to get up and fight".

that is why a pair of trousers is by the bed, for when I investigate things which go bump in the night.

I sleep in silk pajamas, one size larger, that have pockets (cool in summer, warm in winter. My S&W 686 on my chest and slippers where my feet hit the floor. Flashlight next to my glasses. My better half don't mind cause she feels safe.

I'm incapable of sleeping comfortably in the nude. And ever since the Northridge Earthquake I keep slippers by my bed. I cut my foot on glass after the quake and didn't realize it until I saw blood all over the place. I also keep my purse right there in case I have to jump out the window.

I generally sleep in the nude when I have a woman in bed with me. Other than that, I sleep in sweats, t shirt, or boxers.
When I am camping I usually sleep in BDU pants, often with my knife still on my belt all night.
