I have found that searching online for basic vegan recipes is a good way to find ways use my storage food. I am not a vegan but due to cost I have a limited amount of dry milk, dry eggs, and butter on hand. So if I can find recipes that don't use egg, milk, or butter. I can make those items last much longer.

Lasers, in Houston we have amazing ethnic markets. I got a ton of spices/boullion, etc. that will make for some very good meals. I have like 5 kinds of curry alone. I really prefer lentils in the bean department so I can add some curry powder or Harissa spice to it and make it original.

You might look into it.

Lasers is just making a point that simple rice, beans, and dried veggies don't have to be a mystery to make tasty.

Vegan and Indian cultures have recipes that add a lot of complex flavor to otherwise bland veggie fare.

You see an interesting vegan meal recipe? Throw in some meat if you want to.

Maybe some Hindu lightning bolt might hit me but I've made some nice curry beef dishes before.
