20 years ago, while working in a shop I started making hand made knives during break. After many requests by supervisors, fellow workers, I finaly managed to keep one set of knives, out of over a hundred. I have hopes that if and when the "SHTF", or a PAW, this will be one of the trades I use to barter with.

my next project is a tomahawk using plate steel and hickory . gonig to use heating the egdge and sprinkling sugar to heat treat the edge the edge will be hard the rest of it mild steel. the metal pulls the carbon out of the sugar to harden it
