Once again we are in September, and while many of us never let up on our preparedness, it is a good time to review things. It is also a good way to introduce preparedness to others you might be trying to help without as much awkwardness.

Here is my short write up referencing using this month as a time to review plans and supplies

FEMA also has some information on their Ready.gov site promoting this. There are downloadable checklists and such. Most of it is basic, but they would be good conversation starters and resources for beginners. They also have a theme for each week of the month.

Being in a military community (the local post is the primary employer in the area) the preparedness level is already fairly high, but in September they REALLY push preparedness.
