How's it with stains?
Hello all. I just found what looks like a great book at the local library. It's called Living on an Acre: A Practical Guide to the Self-Reliant Life. It's from the USDA. This is the updated version of their 1978 Yearbook of Agriculture called Living on a Few Acres that was dedicated to that decade's back-to-the-land movement. It has a copyright date of 2003 so it should be fairly up-to-date. 300+ pages of info on everything from how to find suitable land to power sources to land improvements to growing & raising crops and animals. Couldn't find anything about it in a search here so I don't know if any of you know about it already. Looks like another good source of info for those wanting to learn as much as they can.
