I purchased a Savage model 111 several years ago and I was very pleased with the quality and accuracy. However it only had a 3 or 4 round magazine. There is a gentleman located in New York that makes a very nice 10 round mag. they are not cheap as he uses the stock Savage magazine for the interface to ensure that that portion works. I have purchased some of them and they seem to work just fine. I still haven't run through 30 rounds at a rapid pace to see if the heating effects the point of impact but that will be next on the agenda. Mine are in 30-06. His web site is darkeaglecustom.com.

Savage offers some of their rifles with a detachable 10 round magazine so I would venture the parts are available from them for purchase. Though I think you might be limited by what caliber the rifle is. I know I have seen one of their .308s setup like that.
