I dislike our relationship with SA that has been going on since 1971. I find our monetary ties to their country and society dangerous and anti-American.

However, as someone who scrutinizes journalism when I see
The service members are not accused of having involvement in the shooting, but some are said to be linked to extremist movements and a number are accused of possessing child pornography.
Red flags instantly go up."Extremist Moverments" and "Child Pornography" need to be further defined. For example: This forum could be labeled an extremist group and a 17yr old who lied about her age and was in a porno on some guys browser history could be "Possessing Child Pornography".

Start the GWOT, pass the patriot act, drone your own civilians abroad...

...and the best that can be done to foreign nationals that are also terrorists who infiltrated the military is to "send them back"?

lol

What a position of strength, what a display of superiority, what a lesson to be taught.

I know, I know....muh diplomacy, but **** diplomacy. If these *******s were officers there is a good chance they are connected to royalty and what's going to happen to them?

SA will say they have been executed but in reality Baba will send ibn to his European estate to cruise around in the G wagen buying $120,000 worth of nikes and designer clothes.

I don't know.

Saudi Arabia is always treated with kid gloves by the US media, so if anything, whatever the story its probably going to be minimized.

You mean like Traci Lords when she first started out? Down here in Florida those first few movies she did will get you landed in prison with possession of child porn.

Seems to be a reactionary attempt to appease the masses but I doubt the US is going to upset their biggest arms customer. It reads like "we found a few bad apples and will screen the next ones better". In a few months it will be business as usual.

Unless they are covered under the Status of Forces Agreement (I'm not sure it applies here in America) why are they not being prosecuted here at home? Why are they allowed to go home? If they have "ties" to extremist groups, ok that should be red flags for an in depth investigation (Which should have happened prior to entry). If there is any doubt deny them entrance. If they are here and get caught put them on trial and await the results. If they are here and get caught with child pornography I wouldn't be against burning them at the stake. I would be happy to provide the wood, fuel and matches then the Lord can deal with them Luke 17:2 Matthew 18:6

I did not know foreign nationals could buy firearms. Bozo must have changed the law.
In most of the South, including Fla, you could buy any firearm if you have the cash to flash. Guns are a part of southern culture.
The way to stop more attacks by our "friends" the Saudis is by not letting them into the US. I guarantee that every Saudi flight student sent to the US has been cleared by the Saudi government, which means absolutely nothing. The US can't do background checks in any Arab country. The military likes these programs because they lead to big arms sales to the countries that participate. Civilian training programs lead to more sales of civilian aircraft.
If these programs have to exist, they should make the foreign countries pay for sending instructors to their countries, instead of sending students to the US.

By principle, anyone allowed to be in the USA should be able to exercise their inherent right to self defense and buying/owning a firearm. If they are deemed too dangerous or risky to have a firearm they simply need to not be in our society in the first place.

When we dilute this principle we play straight into the anti-gun stance that the gun is the problem, not the person who misuses it.

On principle, everyone on Earth should be allowed the inherent right to self-defense and buying/owning a firearm. Unfortunately, our Constitution only restricts OUR government from infringing on that right.

Haven't seen too many restrictions on infringement.

- 1934
- 1968
- 1986
- 1994 (thought that sunsetted)
- various state infringements including but not excluded to: CA, NY, NJ, MA, CT, IL

Not to mention you have a couple members here who saw no problem with the State of NY wanting to ban the on-line sales of gun parts.
