I sure hope he gets the nomination. Because I'm old enough to remember the 1972 election. When the ultra-liberal McGovern---the darling of the Left at the time--got absolutely TROUNCED (he won only two states).

Seriously--do you think an aging Socialist today has any better chance than McGovern in '72? A socialist who is spouting even MORE leftist ideas than McGovern did?

If the Dems put-up Sanders as their man for November, look for Trump to be a shoe-in for reelection.

I don't think there's a nickle's worth of difference between any of them; Sanders is just more honest about his love of marxism, but the Democratic debates were just one big celebration of marxist ideology, with each one trying to outbid the others in how much taxpayer money they would be giving away. So by any name, the Democratic primary has already been won by Karl Marx. And if he wins the general, the loser will be America.

Sanders being more open about his marxist ideology though could make him easier to beat, because it will be the low-information crowd that decides the outcome of the election.

Marxist social policies create malgenics, or what could be called natural counter-selection, the survival of the least fit. This is part of the dumbing down of America that resulted in people like Sanders being taken seriously by so many voters; it is a self-perpetuating ideology.

I just had my taxes done. So until I get over the trauma I will be disliking liberals more than usual.

Trump will chew him up in a debate. Remind everyone that Sanders didn't want to pay his own employees his $15.00 minimum wage. Remind everyone that Sanders owns three, large homes and that he's richer now than when he took office. Remind everyone that it's IMPOSSIBLE to spend as much as he wants to spend on Social Freebies. Remind everyone that Sanders spent his honeymoon in Communist USSR. And (last but not least) remind everyone that Sanders is an imbecile.

Ah, yes, the trauma is a natural result of democracy - a form of government where a majority can persecute a minority. In this case the recipient class can outvote the donor class.

I think that is a real possibility, she's been spending some time over at Fox News, which is not what I'd expect a good Dem to do. I could see Trump making some agreement with her to bring her into the administration with high profile position. So long as she has no authority over gun control, I'd be fine with that.
