"RUSSIAN ANALYST PREDICTS DECLINE AND BREAKUP OF USA"
A leading Russian political analyst has said the economic turmoil in the United States has confirmed his long-held view that the country is heading for collapse, and will divide into separate parts.

Professor Igor Panarin said in an interview with the respected daily IZVESTIA published on Monday: "The dollar is not secured by anything. The country's foreign debt has grown like an avalanche, even though in the early 1980s there was no debt. By 1998, when I first made my prediction, it had exceeded $2 trillion. Now it is more than 11 trillion. This is a pyramid that can only collapse."

It doesn't take a prophet to make this prediction any more.

When The Federal Reserve can STEAL trillions from the American people to pay ITS OWN subsidiaries, then charge the American people interest on that very money printed despite huge public outcry, it's pretty much all over.

Congress has been rendered irrelevant. Our votes have long been irrelevant.

Put a fork in it.

“A leading Russian political analyst has said the economic turmoil in the United States has confirmed his long-held view that the country is heading for collapse, and will divide into separate parts.”

Wishful thinking on his part.

“When asked who would replace the U.S. in regulating world markets, he said: "Two countries could assume this role: China, with its vast reserves, and Russia, which could play the role of a regulator in Eurasia."”

When or if the U.S. economy collapses the entire world economy will be in a depression. China’s rapidly expanding economy will shrink because the U.S. will not be buying the cheaply made goods at the rate they were before. All slowing economies will require less demand for oil. Russia is a third world country with an economy buoyed by the high price of oil. I don’t think the world would want either a communist China or socialist Russia to assume a leadership the role of regulating world economies.

“He predicted that the U.S. will break up into six parts - the Pacific coast, with its growing Chinese population; the South, with its Hispanics; Texas, where independence movements are on the rise; the Atlantic coast, with its distinct and separate mentality; five of the poorer central states with their large Native American populations; and the northern states, where the influence from Canada is strong.”

Unlike Russia, the U.S. does not and never has drawn its boundaries for ethnic reasons. Russians seem to like strong autocratic centralized leadership (which currently is enriching itself by plundering its country’s natural resources). US citizens would not put up with such leadership and our government is structured in such a way as to prevent its existence.

“He even suggested that "we could claim Alaska - it was only granted on lease, after all."”

Good luck with that. I for one would not want to face a bunch of self-reliant Sarah Palin types with guns. I don’t think any army would have much success trying to take any of our states with a resisting population.

The US was settled and is populated by hard working, risk-taking freedom loving people who are less concerned with ethnic identity. Our political system, while far from perfect, is much more stable than Russia’s highlighted by uneventful transfers of power. Our politicians have not historically murdered one another to gain power.

Yes, we are headed for bad economic times and our politicians suck and act in their own self-interest. If our politicians are bad enough they get voted out of office. We do have some recourse and ways of addressing our concerns. Our country is based on a solid foundation, we have vast natural resources, and our “bench” of talent is deep. Times will get worse before they get better but we will slog through it.

While it may be true enough....

Russia's economy is falling apart faster than ours. Like most governments, they should spend more time worrying about their own country rather than how to take ours over

I agree that art of this is wishful thinking on the Russians part but you have to be aware of the magnitude of what is going on.

No country in human history has survived the kind of turmoil this country is experiencing now.

We, as a nation, are morally bankrupt. We teach our kids to be gay and to be tolerant of those who if they had their way would kill us all.

The finances of this country are nearly destroyed. We are 11 Trillion dollars in debt (officially) and unofficially that figure is over 40 trillion dollars. Economists are saying that the government could tax at a rate of 100% and still not be able to meet its obligations in just 15 years.

I for one think this Russian is more right than wrong about his prediction.

There really has to be a point when replacing the corrupt government will be a real option on the table for we Americans.. I mean a point where it isn't just fantasy talk and **** really goes down..

Too bad we have so many idiots in America who think the problem is administration specific and keep hoping the new administration and congress will finally fix things.. Those are the lunkheads that are delaying the inevitable.. And the longer it is delayed, the further down in the **** we get.. Until those *******s finally realize that it's "go" time.. Then most likely it WILL be too late..

Civil war is coming folks. Man, think about it.There are dark clouds forming reminicent of darkest days of old. I remember feeling so sad for all those poor people that suffered through the first civil war and what horrible times they were. A hundred years from now people will look back at us in these times and say, those poor people. What they went through! If there is anyone left that is.

Russia is not and never has been our friend and they would love to think that we will collapse the same way we celebrated the collapse of the U.S.S.R. But the problems are real and I do think we have fallen and will continue to fall but we will not totally collapse and break up never. Like our economy, federal government, and mind set of the American people, we need some thing major to overhaul our thinking and prospective on whom is responsible for making our lives here in America a better place.... IT'S OURS! We all need to wake up and stop blaming someone else and take control and responsibility for our own lives and futures. It was not the government who got us all into credit card debt, had us pay more than we could afford for a home, demand that the schools raise our children and teach them “Ethics” or our but theirs, It’s not the government who make us shop a Wal-mart to save a dollar while the mom & pop store go out of business, we’re the one who let manufactures send their jobs over seas so we can get a better deal on a couch or patio set. We must pull the log out your own eye before we can help our brothers & sister with theirs. This hard economic time is just a chance to make the hard changes we need to make. The question is, Are Americans ready and willing to make those changes?
