i love my 10/22 but i want to get a new stock i was looking at the Butler Creek folding stock and the Tapco T6 stock and it would be a dream if i got a Butler Creek Varmint Combo can u give me any suggestions

I like the Hogue Overmold -- traditional form factor, but a really nice and fieldworthy upgrade. I do not like the Tapco T6 stock for the 10/22, although I use it for other rifles.

I have the hogue overmold on mine and love it. It's grippy even when damp. Its not folding or m4 type but its comfortable and quick.

Also used the bullpup style for a few yrs. The terrible trigger pull alone is enough not to use it.

I have a Butler Creek folding stock on my 10/22, it feels great and changes the whole look of the gun. I got mine from Cabelas for $79.99, get it before their banned!

I don't get why you wouldn't just get the non-stainless steel one if you're just going to paint it? I have the Butler Creek stock as well, works great for my needs.

If you hike, camp, canoe, or SHTF, your stuff will get wet and rust. Even stainless gets some rust. Stainless is bright and reflective. My stainless gets painted camo or flat black.
