Hi all

Iam thinking of buying this AK47

Firstly I dont know if there is a difference between say a romanian ak47 or a romanian ak47 wasr, what does teh wasr mean. Please check out the link and let me know what you think. I have shot ak's before and love them, I just dont know all that much about them.

I read that the wasr models did not accept double stack magazines before and were milled to accept them after the assualt weapons ban expired. I want one preferably that accepted double stack magazines without any modifications.

i found this modle as well which i think will be better although it is more expensive.

if you have the extra bucs go with the bugarian
the only problem with the romy stuff from what i hear is canted front sights
this is probley exagerated as most things are on the gun boards
you can not go wrong with a AK not the bullseye shooter that some mbr are but it will always go boom

i would 1st go to a pawnshop and see if any are selling MAK's or nhm's they are better quality and if it is mildly used it might even be broken in,that will save some on ammo
