Can I shoot regular lead slugs through a fully rifled slug barrel or must I use a jacketed slug such as the newer sabot types? Any help would be appricated.

Do not shoot rifled slugs out of a rifled barrel.

Rifle barrels are designed to use sabots.

I have to more or less concur with whats been previous posted if using a full length rifled barrel. Not doing so will result in a heavily leaded barrel and possible high pressure issues but accuracy will be absolutely horrible after just a couple of shots.

Sabot slugs in a rilfed barrel though takes shot guns to a whole new level!
