I just got a recurve and I am planning on hunting in the future. Lot of practicing to do. Any tips for a newbie?

Make sure its a legal bow to hunt with in your area. They have to have a certain pull poundage in many areas.

Don't try to use a bow thats too heavy for you to pull back.
