It's the lack of enforcement of this law that is the problem. Whether you believe this is intentional or not is a different story. Our fine leader approved a bill mandating a new fence be built along the border. HOWEVER he did not include in this bill a funding section or another bill funding this fence. He's not doing anything and none of the other candidates are going to anything about it either.

the illegals pay no taxes, and are undocumented. Try serrving a warrant for Pedro Martinez....
I agree syntactically there would be no difference, but that wouldn;t fix any of the problems created by the illegals already here. if all illegals went BACK to mexico, then were admitted by proper channels, and after proper screening...it would help in lots of ways.
what possible good could come from allowing a career criminal who is Hep3 and HIV positive to enter our country??

The difference is if millions of immigrants come to the U.S to fast it wouldn't be the U.S anymore. Even though we accept (legally accept) more immigrants per year than any other country ,and more than many countries put together, we have limits as to how many the country can assimilate into the U.S culture to maintain a "melting pot" rather than a "tossed salad" of little sub-cultures throughout the country. This is just one of many reasons immigration needs to be limited.

Illegals drive down wages and overburden our healthcare system. If they do a job for $5 an hour that I would get paid $12 an hour for guess who gets screwed over. If you think that immigration laws should be removed you are a tool of the elite an enemy of the USA or a traitor. Wanting to protect our borders is not racist either. There are plenty of white illegal immigrants in the US who should be removed as well. It's about protecting our jobs our security and our country. Illegal immigrants in Mexico are rounded up and put in labor camps, especially central Americans like Guatemalans and Nicaraguans, so why is it okay for them to be tough on illegals and not us? Double standard in full effect which goes to prove its all planned and that no one is going to do a thing in the future.

When I was in high school looking for a part-time job I couldn't find any work at fast food restaurants near me because the entire kitchen was being worked by grown Mexican men.
Were they illegal immigrants? I don't know for certain.
The only legal Mexican immigrant I know though has a job with the city and owns a 300k home in the foothills.
When you live here you can almost feel the difference between illegals and legal citizens. The tension and corollary problems created by hundreds of thousands of people the government doesn't know about living in your town will make you crisply aware of why it might be a bad thing..

The fence was a bad idea! Claymores and land minds along with a hunting permits, would be a better solution.
Take the caught and drop them off on an island in the pacific, contact their country of origin and let them know that is where they are. Now their welfare is back to being their county's responsibility.
Make it so not state or federal money can be spent on someone in this country illegally. No schools. No hospitals. No food stamps or welfare. Make renting to or allowing them a place to live, a 1 year sentence for the land lord, for each infraction. Make hiring them a $200,000 fine for each caught working for a company or individual.
Better yet! How about we just enforce the laws that are on the books now!

Immigration is not illegal nor should it be. Illegal immigrants are illegal. Big difference. There might be a symantics confusion here.

Easy, people are told to play by the rules and the rules say "you can't play".
OTOH, a rational society should have no problem with competition, handouts are the problem, IMMO, health care, education and a lot of other stuff that Americans are made to pay by the government through taxes and then the benefits are given to those that should pay for their own, not have it given to them for free. Socialism is the problem. American socialism, peculiar as it is.

They showed a blatant disregard for Americas laws.

And also, when you talk about competition, competition is only healthy, as long as that competition is being regulated.
For example, if I do a job for 10 bucks an hour, but Pedro does it for 8, but then Suzy Q does it for 4.50 an hour, that basically eliminates any competition. It might be OK for a Mexican to do a job for way less then what an American would do it for, because the chances are he/she's living in a home shared with another Mexican family and most of her money is being sent down to the rest of her family in Mexico.
Unlike an American citizen where he has American sized taxes to pay, American sized house payments to make and American sized food bill all by himself, usually providing for a wife/partner and their children.

I'm all for helping those in need, but not when they knowingly break the law. In fact, you're called an accomplice if you do so.

My first paragraph was an answer to your question "what about the current immigration policy that makes so many want to be illegal". They choose to be illegal because they have no other option (except, of course, not going to America).
