hi does anyone know where i can get some tapco mini-14 magazines??? am starting late trying to get some....are the pro-mag magazines from cheaper than dirt for mini-14 any good??? the mags i bought from cabelas are junk....thank you...

I have a ProMag 40 rd for my AC556 and it functions fine, even on fullauto.
I'd say try one or two....you can always return them or sell them.

I have some 20 rd. promags that work fine, and I got them from CTD. I've heard the stories of some people having trouble with promags, so I guess a lot depends on how a particular rifle interacts with the mag.
How about ordering a couple promags and testing them out before you make a large purchase?

The ProMag mini 14 mags work very well (I've got 10 rounders). I also got some no-name ones from www.gunclips.net, that have been flawless thus far...no idea who makes 'em...just a plain steel mag, no labels on it. Only difference between these and the Promags is that the bottom piece doesn't come off, so cleaning ain't easy, but they work great. I've put 1000's of rounds through them without incident.
