You are more then welcome to get a laser, but frankly there are two issues. Cheapos cant take the recoil usually, and they don't make you better shot. Lasers are great for training, but not to good for anything else other then perhaps desginating a target.

Good luck and get it if you think you want it. You might at least wanna save for a good durable laser.

I've only just begun considering this laser

for my lil Kel tec .380. Its a tiny pocket gun with almost no sights. from 5-15 yards, I believe the point and shoot ability of the laser would be useful.

My other guns all have night sights.

By the way, I recommend TFO sights for your G19:

They glow the same bright green dots in ANY light.
Yes/No laser sights are ok and can have there uses. In your situation maybe but if you take a shot or have gone to the range and that laser goes bobbing off you are SOL. It works, but you might be better off investing in low light range time, then getting one.

I can't give you a good answer since I don't know your skill. Generally though even with pocket rockets the instructors frown on lasers for the most part. They would rather see range time then a permant breakable crutch added.
