ALERGYFREE, I will shout from the highest mountaintops until i pass out from lack of O2 that Colloidal Silver ABSOLUTELY kills most all bacteria.

I had heard about it for years in the prepper community, and even saw that poor dumb guy that drank it every day and turned blue/purple from it.

So, my teenage son has a WICKED chronic foot odor problem and has had many complaints at school and by friends. So, one day, I'm at a leading sporting goods store and see this "Primos" brand cover scent spray for hunters that touts that it has Colloidal Silver in it and will kill odor causing bacteria.

Well, i bought some and sprayed his sneakers heavily with the stuff all inside and put them open side down over the heater vent to dry. Checked them out in the morning and I'll be g-- damned if the stink was G O N E ! ! We do this every day during the school/cold weather season as he wears his sneaks alot more and sweats heavily into them.

Plus one true believer! (i just wont drink it though..... would hate to look like a Smurf.... See picture below:)

I love that people always bring up the blue guy....

If I break my leg, I'm going to take a narcotic pain pill for pain management. I'm not going to freak out that THOUSANDS of people are pill popping junkies who have ruined their lives. If I need it, I'm going to use it.

IF I have a bacterial infection, I am going to use whatever I can to cure it. 3 or 4 documented cases of people turning blue from over use, overdosing, or improper use (adding salt to the making process which makes Silver Chloride and not Colloidal silver) are not going to scare me.

In a SHTF situation, I have no doubt that Colloidal silver could save lives!! IF antibiotics are not available, it is definitely something a person would want to use. I'd rather be blue than dead! (Not that I think colloidal silver actually turns people blue if used correctly. Hypothetically... if my choices where blue or death... I'm picking blue!)

It's like that old expression, don't throw the baby out with the bathwater. Common sense when using anything helps. People can die by drinking too much water. I still drink water every day! I'm a total dare devil! Ha ha !

This is for the people whom argue CS does not kill bacteria. ...
Who are those people?

Many things kill bacteria. Household bleach will kill bacteria and destroy viruses. Heat kills bacteria. Bacteria are not exactly hard to kill. Just because something kills bacteria does not mean that it is good for you if used inappropriately. People need bacteria to live.

Does strawmen arguments kill bacteria? I think they kill brain cells.

Their is actually a lot more than 3 or4 casses , a few 100 years ago almost all royalty had a blue/grey tinge to their skin from constantly eating off silver and having their food/liquids/wine stored in silver. This is where the term blue and red blooded came from

The easyest way to test collodial silver is to put it under a microscope it kills 99.9 % of stuff within a hour - cant argue with that

CS is great stuff. A little expensive but good to have on hand.
We put it in the pets water bowl. None have turned blue yet.

For most wounds, salt is highly effective also.

Salt can disinfect almost any skin wound or deep puncture.

Try this....
If you get a very itchy mosquito bite, try putting a blob of salt wetted with water to make it a paste directly on the bite. If you catch the bite early, it stops the itch within about 1 minute. The salt seems to pull the contamination back out through osmosis.

Years ago, salt fat back was used to pull the deep infection from deep nail puncture wounds. People didnt run to the hospital all the time. even for what we would call serious today.

I recommend you have tons of salt in your preps.

Origin of the phrase "blue blood". It has nothing to do with silver.

Many painting from the time period exist of royalty. Although many of them look a very pasty white... None that I have ever looked at had a "blue tint". IF it were a sign of "royalty" wouldn't they have wanted to be blue in the paintings?

I am one of those encouraging the use and making of colloidial silver.
I had a kitten given to me that had distemper .
I put some in her eyes and in her drinking water, and she cleared right up .
Ben using CS for a very long time and have some that is over 10+ years old still effective.
I have this to say to nay sayers ,
Don't use it ,we don't need you.
Stay with modern medicine, it will always be there for you, as cheap and convienient as your last pay check.
I have nothing to gain teaching you how to make it your self ,even though there are folks attempting to scare others into thinking their method is SAFER for some special reason. they won't share thier method , gee I wonder why? and according to them their exclusive method can only be gotten from them.
I do not use rocket sciense. It is a very simple process and what is made is every bit as effective ,and safe.
One can get painfully anal but the results are basiclly the same.
2 pieces pure 99.99999 silver or there about .
glass
colored bottle to store product.
9 volt battery or there abouts ,some use 3 volts and some use 3-9 volt =27 volts.
I use 12 because it's wired in my home and cars run that as well.
Their is an assumption is that the lower voltage is better, I'm not arguing that.
I was tought to make some saline solution using sea salt , only 2-3 drops per 16 oz batch are used to inspire the electrolisis process.
Too much and it becomes more sodum based, you don't want that.
Distilled water only, not purified water ,don't fudge here.
A small pair of wire strands to link the silver pieces to each pole on the battery circut you have chosen , most choose to use alagator clips to make this connection at either end.
if you short out the battery it's your own fault ,
don't.
You will observe a cloud forming from the silver attached to the positive pole of the battery it is positive it is releasing , and it seems to fall to the bottom of the glass and begin to accumulate as a cloud .
In about an hours time the cloud is about half the volume , which for the most part is enough.
I pour that whole volume in a blue glass for storage .
If I have forgotten due to time and distraction, it gets thicker with floating debris, but nothin is wrong , I simply pour it through a coffee filter into my storage bottle.
The silver you want will pass through the paper filter just fine.
One can do this process with a small solar panel in the boonies. And for the most part rain is distilled water.
Colloidial silver does not deplete in effective value .
My emergency drinking water in my BOB is colloidial silver.
In the event I or some one with me is not in the best of heath, this can make a big difference in getting home better than you started.

DO NOT use salt to start a solution!

This is one of several mistakes the "smurf" man made. The silver binds with the salt to make a poisonous ingredient. Do your own google search to verify this.
Also, on the MRSA question, it is working on my son's 3 year battle with MRSA and cellulitis in his leg. At least it appears to be from the outward appearances, with obvious results clearly seen within just three days of oral use. This after many trips to doctors and even the ER. Doctors have only been able to minimize the infection which comes back but the colloidal silver seems to be working very fast. We hope it is able to completely get rid of it. Time will tell.
MRSA will kill many years later after original infection. I learned this week that we are about to lose an old friend who has been fighting it for 13 years. I've sent info about colloidal silver her way and I'm eager to see if she tries it and what the results turn out to be if she does. I've been told the doctors have said her demise is imminent.

"My emergency drinking water in my BOB is colloidial silver."
Absolutely great idea!
Don't know why I didn't think of this. I will at least put a portion of CS in my water supplies, hydration packs, and canteens.

Found this interesting. I got several mosquito bites last week in the garden one evening (12 on one arm) that made huge whelps and hurt. Not a big deal usually but my arm looked terrible. I washed my arms with my wife's home-made soap which has rendered beef tallow in it. Then I gave the dog a bath using Hartz Groomers Best with oatmeal shampoo where I got the shampoo all up both arms as I reached around him. 30 - 45 minutes after I had originally came in and the bites could not even be found. I was amazed!
Not sure which it was but I'm thinking it was the shampoo with oatmeal because i usually wash down after coming in and then live with the itch. Might give it a try again but the cooler weather slowed down the biting beasties some now.

For foot odors you can also use Gold Bond type body powder with Zinc.
Dusted on the feet each morning and after each shower before putting on socks will kill all odor and soften callouses (prevent them) and leave the feet feeling much better at the end of the day. I've shared this very cheap solution with many people and they always love it.
Females should always be careful using anything with talcum powder as it may increase risks of reproductive problems. Seems I remember it raises risks of ovarian cancer but I don't remember for sure since I don't have those.
I keep a pound of powdered Zinc, MSM, and DMSO as well as CS and many different essential oils. Learn how to use them.

This is for the people whom argue CS does not kill bacteria. Probably though they won't even bother to look and if they do won't reply.

His hypothesis is flawed. The experiments only show that colloidal silver interferes with bacteria reproductive processes.

It does not prove that it killed the bacteria.

Besides he was probably using pasteurized milk.

When I make CS, I use maybe a tablespoon of an older batch as a kind of Mother to kick it off.
I used salt early on but kept running into info it wasn't a good thing.
Actually the reaction will eventually start on it's own without help. Might just take a little longer.

Articles re: antibacterial properties of 'Colloidal' silver

Someone was asking for proof of the effectiveness of colloidal (I prefer nano particle) silver. Although there has been many years of observed effects of silver on various diseases, I (and others) really want to see the hard data for ourselves....have at it:whip:
